Breakfast at Tiffany’s Baby Shower

From our design files, we’re delighted to share this splendid Breakfast at Tiffany’s themed baby shower.

Our client was welcoming a baby girl, and had decided on the name Madison.  We designed the labels and the theme of the party on a play on Tiffany and Company, instead calling it, “Madison and Company”.

Baby Buggy Custom Favor

As the invitees entered the party, they were greeted with a table right by the front door, filled with cat-eye sunglasses and strands of pearls. A customized sign greeted them with a friendly, “Welcome, Darlings!” and instructed each lady to “get fabulous”.

Inside, the theme continued on.  A beautiful wish tree was placed just inside the foyer, with tags for each guest to leave their well wishes for the new baby. This was selected by the client in lieu of a traditional guestbook.  White rose kissing balls hung from the chandelier by brightly colored aqua bows, as gifts were collected in a beautiful Italian carved baby cradle.

As the ladies were guided outdoors to begin the breakfast, they encountered carefully styled dining tables. Centerpieces of tiffany Blue gift boxes adorned with feathers, pearls and crystals sat perched on tall, glossy black vases. The tables were set with pale aqua linens, accented with touches of pink, to keep a feminine element in the look.  Scattered diamond confetti in assorted sizes, and strands upon strands of pearls added beautiful texture to the tablescape.

The buffet was equally lovely, with a carefully planned menu of delicacies, including miniature quiche, an artisan cheese board, yogurt parfaits topped with toasted granola, strawberry ebelskivers (Dutch pancake spheres with fruit filling), miniature pancake stacks topped with a blueberries and custom labels, assorted mini Danish and fresh fruit and berries. The ladies also enjoyed a “Create your own Cocktail” station, which included iced bottles of champagne and vodka, with a wide variety of mixers, from cranberry and orange juices, to creative offerings, including pomegranate juice and pink lemonade.

Dessert was also a grand affair, with French macarons in lavender, coconut and raspberry flavors, a color coordinated candy buffet, a delectable white chocolate cake with curving white chocolate curls, and a tiny fondant topper custom made to look like a baby girl in  tiffany blue pantaloons, as well as coordinating cupcakes.  A dreamy white tulle table skirt, scattered pink rose petals and more diamonds and pearls added to the elegance.

A wonderful time was had by all of the fabulous ladies. Miss Madison will be joining good company when she arrives!
